Fossils, industrial and local history in one large combined collection

Among the major historical objects, the museum houses a rich collection of paleontological objects.

The perfect museum for history and archaeology lovers

Are you an archaeology or palaeontology buff or simply someone who enjoys learning about history and looking at objects from the past? Let yourself be enchanted by the wonders of the Dudelange Museum. This impressive collection of historical objects includes relief frescoes, coins, pottery and everyday objects that spent centuries underground until they were finally uncovered in archaeological excavations carried out on Mont St. Jean, near the remains of the fortified castle. Be sure to check out the collection of military fibula and firearms. Fascinating!
